This model was used for the 'Virtual Riders' VR racing game made for the UPC booth in the "Saló de l'Ensenyament" convention. The station was made using 3DSMax and then baked and textured in Painter.
The model has 20,000 triangles and uses six texture maps, some of which are combined, resulting in a total of 4 maps used in-game:
- Albedo + Ambient Occlusion
- Metalness + Roughness
This was originally intended as a central piece around which the racing track would turn, but further redesigns of the course eventually left it as a landmark on top of it instead.
